FIELD: metallurgy, namely, preparation of air tuyeres of blast furnaces for operation. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of applying aluminium containing coat onto outer sleeve and welded seams joining sleeve with mouth portion and flange by gasothermic deposition and annealing. Coat is deposited onto welded seams with thickness no less than 0.5 mm. Annealing is performed by heating tuyere with deposited coat together with furnace, soaking and cooling in furnace until 120-150 C and air cooling.
