FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method includes mechanical removal of an oxidated layer off the surface of an inside cartridge from the side of a blow channel and muzzle part of the tuyer with thermal treated aluminium containing gas thermal coat. Then an aluminium containing coating is applied on the outer surface of the muzzle part of the tuyer. Then the tuyer is installed into a blast furnace in not earlier than twenty four hours after coating application.

EFFECT: invention reduces heat losses through a tuyer and increases its burn out resistance.
