FIELD: fiber optical communication lines. SUBSTANCE: in compliance with first variant single-mode optical fiber includes central part of core, stepped part of core around central part which refractive index is less than that of central part of core and sheath which refractive index is less than that of stepped part of core arranged around stepped part of core. In accordance with second variant single-mode optical fiber incorporates central part of core, peripheral part of core around central part which refractive index is higher than that of central part of core and sheath which refractive index is less than that of stepped part of core arranged around stepped part of core. In wave length range 1490-1625 n chromatic dispersion of fiber is from 7 to 15 ps/(km•nm), effective area of core is equal to 60-150 μm2, dispersion angle is under 0.09 ps/(km•nm). Loss for bending amounts to 100 dB/m or less. Optical communication line has optical fiber with dispersive displacement and fiber with compensation for dispersion compensating for inclination of dispersive curve and chromatic dispersion of optical fiber with dispersive displacement.
