FIELD: burst data transfer between base station and mobile station. SUBSTANCE: channel access control method for mobile communication system includes shaping of broadcast channel frame by base station; this frame incorporates status information showing if real-time varying channel codes are busy or not. Base station transfers broadcast channel frame during predetermined time intervals. Then mobile station selects available channel code basing on information from received frame of broadcast channel, generates message requesting channel assignment over random access channel; on receiving request to assign channel over random access channel station assigns channel, specifies transmission speed, and transfers this information over direct access channel. EFFECT: maximized probability of normal channel access with dynamically varied transmission speed. 6 cl, 12 dwg
