FIELD: burst data transmission in mobile code-division multiple access system. SUBSTANCE: first method involves transmission of state check message from base station to mobile station in active state. Base station receives response message from mobile station and analyzes response message received to determine mobile station state. Base station terminates operation of respective channel and turns to mobile station state. Second method involves transmission of state check message from base station to mobile station during burst data transmission between base and mobile stations in mobile CDMA communication system in active state. Mobile station receives response message from base station and analyzes received response message to determine state of base station. Mobile station terminates operation of respective channel and turns to base station state. In this way proposed methods alternately synchronize base and mobile stations according to servicing conditions or according to predetermined states of system. EFFECT: reduced signaling charges, consumption of radio resources and synchronization time. 6 cl, 6 dwg
