FIELD: complex processing of solid fuels; applicable in solid fuel gasification with activation of solid residue in power and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: device has activation chamber with means supplying activating agent and located in chamber of oxidizing gasification with formation of circular space with means for supply of starting and main fuel. Oxidizing gasification chamber has annular swirler made in form of blades whose interblade space accommodates means for supply of starting and main fuel. Activation chamber is made in form of sealed retort with spherical bottom. Said retort accommodates grate separating the chamber into pyrolysis and activation zone and zone of activating agent formation. Annular swirler is made in form of flat or shaped blades with angle between front of output edge and tangent to side surface of blades equaling 45-60 deg. Swirler is located at distance equaling 0.5-1.0 inner diameter of oxidizing gasification chamber from lower point of activation chamber spherical bottom. Means for supply of fuel are made in form of jet nozzles, with jet nozzles of starting fuel alternating with jet nozzles of main fuel.
