VODKA "DRAGOTSENNAYA" AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: food and liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of vodkas. Vodka contains ethyl alcohol, water and addition of precious metals as scales of forged gold and silver taken in the ratio = (5:1)-(6:1) in their total amount 0.06-0.1 g/l. Linear sizes of forged gold and silver are 1.0-3.0 and 0.1-0.3 mm and thickness sizes are 0.00008-0.0003 mm and 0.0008-0.001 mm, respectively, in the ratio of masses of scales of greater and lesser sizes = (8:1)-(12:1). Method involves preparing an aqueous-alcoholic mixture, its purification and filtration, exposition in finishing tank followed by correction of strength and addition to vodka the addition of precious metal and bottling. As precious metal method involves scales of forged gold and silver taken in the ratio = (1:5)-(1: 6) in the total amount 0.06-0.1 g/l with thickness 0.00008-0.0003 and 0.0008-0.001 mm for gold and silver, respectively. Before bottling vodka is separated for four parts and to each part addition is added, subjected for ultrasonic treatment at frequency 22-25 kHz and power 0.2 kWt being in two parts treatment is carried out up to preparing scales with linear sizes 0.1-0.3 mm and in other two parts up to linear sizes 1.0-3.0 mm. Then all parts are mixed in amounts providing the ratio of precious metal scales = (8:1)-(12:1) which are added to vodka. Invention provides the improvement of consumption properties due to elevation of flight time of suspended particles and conferring "sparkling" effect to the end product.
