FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing an aqueous-alcoholic solution (mixture) to provide the strength value of vodka 40%. Prepared mixture is stirred thoroughly and passed through carbon-cleaning battery at the filtration rate up to 40 dal/h for fresh carbon and up to 30 dal/h for regenerated carbon followed by feeding vodka into finishing tank. Sorbitol and glucose are dissolved in purified water separately and added successively into finish tank at stirring. Rosewort (0.3 kg) is poured with 3.0 l of 70% aqueous-alcoholic liquid and infused for 7 days. Infusion is poured off, filtered and 2.4 l of infusion with approximate strength 49% is added into finishing tank also. The content of finishing tank is stirred, strength value is corrected if necessary, filtered finally and fed for bottling. Ready vodka comprises the following components per 1000 dal: sorbitol, 1.8-2.0 kg; rosewort roots infusion, 2.2-2.4 l; glucose, 2.8-3.0 kg, and rectified ethyl alcohol "Ekstra" and purified drink water, the balance, to provide the strength value 40%. Proposed method allows preparing vodka showing the improved organoleptic indices and possessing mild, harmonic taste with barely detected freshness tint and vodka aroma. Testing score of vodka is 9.68.
EFFECT: improved producing method, improved and valuable properties of vodka.
