FIELD: radio engineering; signals of synchronizing base stations. SUBSTANCE: devices for evaluating time and frequency error of signals are disposed between N base stations so that direct rays arrive from each of N base stations at signal time and frequency error evaluating device; time positions of correlation function maxima are determined with accuracy much higher than digitizing period due to using estimates of correlation function derivatives; differences in carrier frequencies of base stations are determined with high degree of accuracy due to analyzing phase shift increments and transmitting frequency difference obtained to one of base stations. Novelty is that device for evaluating time and frequency error of base station signals that has external port, analog processor, N signal search centers, digital modulator, and analog transmitter is provided in addition with N signal time position detecting units, N signal rate-of-phase-change evaluation units, memory unit, and signal time and frequency error evaluation unit. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of evaluating signal time and frequency error. 4 cl, 9 dwg
