FIELD: medicine and medical equipment, particularly, methods and devices for treatment of locomotor system, more specifically, methods and devices applicable in external fixation of vertebral column in its surgical treatment. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of pair of rod-wood screws into each vertebra in which extreme and next rod-wood screws are interconnected directed along distraction rods. In this case, produced in additional ties are stresses opposite to stresses arising in distraction rods. Use is made of device having, at least, two pairs of rod-wood screws secured with each other in pair on transverse supporting plates by threaded distractors. Device is provided with additional ties secured parallel to each other at ends of extreme and next rods-wood screws. EFFECT: prevented destruction of rods-wood screws due to redistribution of forces arising in rods-wood screws introduced into vertebra bodies in elimination of vertebral column deformities. 2 cl, 5 dwg
