FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; alloying steel in steel-teeming ladle. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes application of aluminum- containing material layer on surfaces of ferro-alloy lumps. Alloying element is dissolved in local zone at reduced content of oxygen separated from volume of metal by aluminum-containing material; it exceeds sizes of ferro-alloy lumps by 0.1-17.5 mm. Size of local zones formed in metal melt is adjusted by change of thickness of layer of aluminum containing material applied on surfaces of ferro-allot lumps.
