FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to restoration of elastomeric ware and, in particular, to a method for preparing curable gray elastomer material. Sulfur-vulcanized elastomer material is treated with mixture containing one or more first-class substances composed of thiocarbamate and dialkyl dithiophosphates zinc salts and one or more second-class substances composed of 2- mercaptobenzothiazole or its derivatives, thiurames, guanidines, 4,4'-dithiomorpholine, and sulfenamides in presence of zinc oxide at temperature below 70 C. Restored material is used for manufacturing automobile tires, rugs, rug warp, pipes, and treads by molding °/° ° vulcanization.
