FIELD: experimental hydrodynamics; development of electric propulsive complexes of submersible vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed disk brake unit includes brake disk mounted instead of blade system of propulsor mounted on hollow shaft whose inner cavity connects engine exhaust line with outside medium through check valve. Outlet neck of propeller shaft is coaxial relative to it and hollow bush-nozzle at adjustable critical section is rigidly mounted. Axial length from end face of disk as far as nozzle exit section is equal to or exceeds one fourth of radius of brake disk. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of determination of power of power plant in conducting stop tests of submersible vehicles. 1 dwg
