FIELD: methods testing quality of materials of single-layer coats and layers of multilayer composite coats. SUBSTANCE: technique establishing physical-mechanical properties of material carrying coat lies in excitation of vibrations in specimen, in determination of modulus of elasticity of tested layer of specimen and in making judgment on properties of material by difference in moduli of elasticity of examined layers of material. Besides this density of initial material is found by hydrostatic weighing. In this case longitudinal vibrations are exited in initial material and modulus of elasticity is determined, then examined layer of material of coat is applied, density of material with applied coat is established by hydrostatic weighing, longitudinal vibrations are excited and modulus of elasticity of examined applied layer of coat is found by computation. Then next layer of specimen is applied and operations required for establishment of modulus of elasticity of material of examined applied layer of coat are repeated. EFFECT: simplified technique establishing moduli of elasticity and raised precision of measurement of parameters involving modulus of elasticity. 1 dwg
