FIELD: testing facilities and method. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of checking quality of multiplayer and surface-strengthened materials in wide temperature range. According to proposed method, oscillations are excited in sample before and after removal of layer of material, modulus of elasticity of removed layer of material is determined, and properties of material are determined basing on difference in moduli of elasticity of elasticity of removed layers of material. Density of initial material is determined additionally by hydrostatic weighing, sample is heated and coefficient of linear thermal expansion of heated sample is determined by dilatometrical method, longitudinal oscillations are excited in initial heated material and modulus of elasticity is determined, then sample is cooled, layer of material under testing of similar thickness is removed from four os sample, density of remaining material is determined by hydrostatic weighing, remaining part of material is heated and coefficient of linear thermal expansion of heated remaining part of material is determined by dilatometrical method, longitudinal oscillations are excited and modulus of elasticity of tested removed layer is determined by calculation. Then following layer of sample is removed and operations to determine modulus of elasticity of material of removed layer are carried out. EFFECT: simplified method of determination of moduli of elasticity and improved accuracy of measurement of parameters related to modulus of elasticity, particularly, temperature dependence. 1 dwg
