FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out infusion load tests for building volume-pressure plots under functioning and nonfunctioning bypass connected to recording system and craniospinal system. The built curves are compared. Hypodraining condition being observed, the valve under use is to be changed for lower pressure valve. Hyperdraining condition being observed, the valve under use is to be changed for a valve of higher pressure. EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic and postoperative complications. 8 dwg
