FIELD: construction engineering; shutting-off pipe line in case of failure of standard gate. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has cylindrical body with flange built in pipe line. Located coaxially inside body is cylindrical framework on which toroidal envelope is mounted. This envelope is deformed under action of internal pressure of compressed gas, thus closing circular gas between framework and body. Body is provided with passage in wall and is connected with cavity of envelope for delivery of medium under pressure and relief of pressure. Said envelope is made from rubberized cord.
