FIELD: manufacture of articles of special materials with high heat resistance properties for heat exchange apparatuses, electric power plants and so on. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming pack of alternating layers of aluminum and copper; placing over said pack protective metallic gasket with explosion charge and realizing explosion welding; selecting relation of thickness of layers of aluminum and copper in pack equal to 1 : (0.4 - 0.56) at thickness of aluminum layer equal to 1.8 - 2.5 mm and at relation of specific mass of charge of explosion matter to summed specific masses of protective metallic gasket, layers of aluminum and copper equal to 0.47 - 0.92; using charge of explosion matter having detonation rate in range 2070 - 2930 m/s; after welding subjecting pack to hot rolling at temperature 350 -500 C with reduction degree 50 -75%; annealing received blank at heating it until temperature 400 - 500 C for 2 - 3 h and then air cooling of it; performing additional rolling at temperature 20 - 250 C with reduction degree 10 - 30%.
