FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to damper piston and supply valve of air pressure relay. Slider in proposed brake cylinder air pressure automatic regulator is made in form of disk with shank, and air relay supply valve is of two plate design communicating brake cylinder with air distributor or atmosphere. In control part of brake cylinder air pressure regulator, slider is made in form of damper piston with throttling hole on rod of which retainer is secured. Control part cup is connected with fork, spring being installed between cup and fork to transmit force to cup through rod connected with damper piston rod. Air pressure relay housing accommodates power and disconnecting pistons with lever turning around rib of retainer, and left-type supply valve is installed between spaces of air pressure relay communicating with brake cylinder and it rests on spring at one side and is in contact with spring-loaded disconnecting piston and seat from other side. EFFECT: improved reliability and sensitivity of air pressure relay at application and release of brakes of freight cars. 2 dwg
