FIELD: equipment for diagnostics of diesel internal combustion engines with determination of hourly flow rate of fuel in these engine both during their testing and during check of their technical condition. SUBSTANCE: pressure transducer is set in pressure section of fuel feeding line between fuel fine filter and high-pressure fuel pump. Then engine is operated at minimal stable speed of idle run and transducer measures fuel pressure at this speed. Then control of speed regulator of crankshaft of engine is abruptly shifted into position of maximal supply of fuel and transducer measures minimal pressure of fuel in process of free acceleration of engine caused by mentioned abrupt shift of mentioned control. Difference of two values of fuel pressures measured by transducer establishes maximal hourly flow rate of fuel by engine run at rated speed with usage of dependence determined beforehand. In process of measurement of pressure fuel can be drained from nozzles of engine and directed into pressure section of fuel feeding line between pressure transducer and high-pressure fuel pump.
