FIELD: building processes and equipment, possibly cleaning surfaces by removing from them different coatings, deposits, rust, breaking especially hard coatings, materials, preparing surfaces for applying new protective coating, particularly on large-size metallic constructions, building erections, transport vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding flow of fuel mixture having gaseous oxidizer and liquid fuel; at combusting fuel mixture and creating high-temperature flow of gaseous combustion products realizing interaction of gaseous mixture and combustion products and providing bleeding of two-component flow through supersonic nozzle for creating high-temperature gas-abrasive supersonic stream; using apparatus for thermoabrasive treatment; then realizing interaction of two-component high- temperature gasabrasive stream with high-pressure working liquid passed through acceleration jets and forming high-speed three- component hydraulic gas-abrasive stream with increased dynamic pressure. Axes of outlet openings of jets are directed inside mixing chamber and they cross in point laid on central axis of apparatus. Interaction of supersonic gas-abrasive stream and high-speed hydraulic stream allows to maximally use their kinetic energy for achieving desired speed values of abrasive particles.
