FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out 2-4 mm long sclerocorneal or corneal incision, circular capsulorhexis of anterior lens capsule, hydrodissection and hydrodelineation. The lens is exposed to pulsating laser radiation at 1440 nm wavelength with power of 50-300 mJ at frequency of 10-30 Hz during 5-30 s. The lens is fragmented into 2-8 parts. Treatment power selection from mentioned range is carried out on the basis of lenticular nucleus density. Lens fragments are treated with ultrasonic radiation power of 12-18 W power at frequency of 30000-60000 Hz with operation duration being 15-60 s long. EFFECT: accelerated treatment with ultrasonic radiation power; reduced risk of traumatic complications. 4 cl
