METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF AMMUNITION LAUNCH ANGLE BY ITS ON-BOARD TRANSMITTER BEFORE START IN THE ABSENCE OF ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION (MODIFICATIONS) Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: measuring instruments, in particular, sensors of the angle of deviation of a guided ammunition from the horizon at its shooting. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that after vertical orientation of the transmitter sensing element the pendulum of the inertia force caused by the start acceleration of the ammunition at the beginning of its action is fixed. In the process of fixation of the pendulum the transmitter sensing element is freed of coupling to the pendulum mass, information on attitude is picked off after the start of the ammunition. In the ammunition launch angle transmitter clearly pitch oriented at loading, the plate of the capacitance-type sensor is manufactured in the form of a balanced disk with ports, that is positioned in the center of the frame on the rotation supports perpendicularly to the ammunition longitudinal axis and horizontally. The fixed plates of the capacitance-type transmitter are made in form of printed circuit boards and installed on the inner walls of the frame on both sides of the disk. Fastened on the end of the pivot outside the frame is a vertically balanced rocker, positioned on which is the eccentric load of the pendulum on its own axle for rotation in the horizontal plane up to the contact with the frame by its eccentric side, which is installed with clearance L1 in parallel with the frame plane by means of a light spring with spaced points of contact in its width. Located on the frame with clearance L2 from the disk generating line radially to it is a slightly spring-loaded inertia damper with a needle-shaped tip that is engageable with the disk inertia catch installed in the body in the ammunition axis, L1=(3 to 6)L2. In the ammunition launch angle transmitter arbitrarily pitch oriented at loading, the frame is freely installed on the rotation supports in the body relative to the ammunition longitudinal axis. The frame carries the board of the electronic transducer of capacitance to voltage. Installed on the hollow journal of the frame is a commutator, whose slip rings are connected through conductors through the hollow journal with the board of the capacitance transducer. The damper inertia catch is made in the form of spring-loaded rods located in the frame axis in the body. Fastened on the ends of the rods at distance. L3 from the commutator are a tapered grip and insulated contacts for engagement at a contact with the tapered generating line of the commutator and rings respectively. Transversal grooves are made on the rods that are engageable with the inertia damper and the split spring ring in the groove of the body with a depth before opening of the rods, and providing the travel of the grip and contacts equal to L3. EFFECT: enhanced precision of measurement of the ammunition launch angle, enhanced reliability of operation at action of start acceleration, and simplified construction of the ammunition. 3 cl, 5 dwg
