FIELD: measuring equipment applicable in study of fast processes (quick burning, blast, shock wave propagation). SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the following: the image of the process under study in the plane of the slot, which cuts out the useful part of the image under study is formed by the inlet objective, at the same time modulated light is projected by the lens to the rotary mirror, and both light beams are transmitted through the inner objective and the scanning mirror to a fixed photographic film, modulated light is produced by an impulse laser generator with an optical light conduit, from whose end face the light is focused by a lens and directed to the rotary mirror located near the plane of the slot, the frequency of the impulse laser generator is stabilized by a quartz resonator, and the duration of calibration is proportional the duration of scanning of the photodetector. EFFECT: simplified technical realization of production of modulated radiation, reduced power consumption, reduced overall dimensions of the device, enhanced service life and reliability, expanded calibration range. 1 dwg
