FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording plethysmogram, applying reactive hyperemia. Vein capacity is to be determined in initial and reactive hyperemia stage. Small vein and venule radius relative increment is calculated in percents to the initial radius value by using mathematical formula and mentioned parameters. Normal reference value is determined for radius increment from the calculated value calculated on forearm and crus data. EFFECT: noninvasive method for determining normal or pathological vein radius increments. 2 tbl
