FIELD: finish working of machine parts at production process or restoration, particularly rubbing parts of machines and mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of supplying to working zone lubricant with additives and passing electric current through pair "tool - part"; after time delay 5 - 30 s realizing percussion-acoustic treatment at embedding into part surface formed grease containing molybdenum disulfate and graphite. Apparatus for performing the method includes tool-anode and system for supplying lubricant with additives to working zone. Positive terminal of electric current source is connected with tool-anode; negative terminal of electric current source is connected with worked part. Drive unit of vibration- -acoustic head provides its motion relative to worked surface. Pressing unit provides contact pressure of tool- part equal to 20 - 40 mPa. Processor provides necessary working modes, desired order of turning on and off units of apparatus and working time intervals of each unit.
