FIELD: mechanical engineering; friction units. SUBSTANCE: antifriction bearing has outer and inner races, balls and seals preventing leaking out of lubricant. Anodes secured on inner wall of seals are dielectrically insulated from bearing body and are made of metal or alloy containing required additions. Used as lubricant is current conducting ion-forming liquid. Materials of anode and parts of bearing are chosen to provide reparation (reconditioning of friction parts in process of operation) owing to potential differences of parts. Friction of bearing parts leading to their wear is activating action contributing to electrochemical settling of material of anode onto surfaces of bearing liable to wear. Required service life of bearing and friction coefficient can be provided by changing the content of ion-forming liquid, geometrical shape and dimensions of anode and its composition.
