FIELD: mechanical engineering; power presses and press-forging machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed clutch-brake has hub, pneumatic cylinder, bearing disks of clutch and brake, sliding bushes, load-bearing pins carrying driven pressure disk (ring) of clutch on one end and driven pressure disk of brake on other end; proposed clutchbrake has drive friction disks, brake springs mounted between housing of pneumatic cylinder and pressure disk (ring) of clutch, stiffeners and clearance control unit. Novelty of invention consists in availability of cylindrical or taper bosses located on side of clutch unit under transversal circular strip connecting disks of clutch and brake through stiffeners; pressed in said bosses are guide bushes in which load-bearing pins are fitted. Brake springs are mounted on load-bearing pins embracing them over circle. One end of said brake spring is fitted on boss found on pneumatic cylinder housing and other end is fitted on boss made in open circular cavity on inner end surface of driven pressure disk (ring) of clutch. Stiffeners on end section of pneumatic cylinder housing are made in between bosses at such width that their outer end edge coincides with outer edge of cylindrical (taper) bosses of load-bearing pins and simultaneously coincides with outer edge of transversal circular strip of bearing disk of clutch. Stiffeners of pneumatic cylinder housing are rigidly connected with body of transversal circular strip of bearing disks and clutch and brake.
