FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention consists in more uniform distribution of cold vapors of nitrogen in side clearances of chamber prior to their exit through vertical slits of perforated sheets into internal space and in provision for faster and more uniform freezing of food products due to periodic change of direction of flow of cold vapors of nitrogen relative to frozen products. Salient feature of invention is as such: internal walls of chamber are installed with inclination relative to side perforated sheets limiting internal working space and reversible feed of vapors of nitrogen into working space is ensured with the aid of two groups of nozzles and fans switched on in turn. EFFECT: provision for faster and more uniform freezing of food products. 1 dwg
