FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of aircraft engines and turbines; protection of compressor and turbine blades against salt corrosion, dust and drop impingement erosion at temperature up to 550 C. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes implantation with nitrogen ions performed before application of multi-layer coat and post- implantation tempering performed simultaneously with application of multi-layer coat; multi-layer coat is formed by alternate application of layers of titanium, ε-titanium nitride and α-titanium nitride; post- implantation tempering and application of multi-layer coat are conducted in one vacuum space during one technological cycle. EFFECT: enhanced resistance of coat to salt corrosion, dust and drop impingement erosion; reduced labor consumption. 4 tbl, 1 ex
