FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to machine building and may be used in aeronautical propulsion engineering and power turbine construction for protection of airfoil portion of compressor and turbine rotor blades against salt and gas corrosion, gas-abrasive and drop-impingement erosion. Method for protection of steam and gas turbines blades against salt and gas corrosion, gas-abrasive and drop-impingement erosion includes performance of ion implantation prior to application of multilayer coating and application of multilayer coating in vacuum. Prior to application of multilayer coating, ion implantation is carried out, using combinations of chemical elements Yb and B or combinations Cr, Y, Yb, C, B, Zr with N ions. Multilayer coating is applied by multiple alternation of erosion-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials layers, for instance, Ti, Zr, Cr and their nitrides. Thickness of layer makes from 100 nm to 2 mcm at total thickness of coating from 6 mcm to 100 mcm.
EFFECT: increase of resistance of coating to salt and gas corrosion, gas-abrasive and drop-impingement erosion with simultaneous increase of endurance and cyclic strength of coating.
