FIELD: electrical industry; production of high-calorific fuel, hydrogen and oxygen from water. SUBSTANCE: proposed electrolyzer includes hermetic reservoir filled with electrolyte and provided with cover, inlet and outlet tubes and electrodes. Said reservoir is rectangular, cylindrical or polygonal in shape; it includes battery of plate-type, perforated, corrugated, brush- shaped, comb-type or grid electrodes. Made of stainless steel and assembled in cells. Brush-shaped electrodes may be located between other electrodes and cells. Inlet tube of hermetic reservoir of electrolyzer is connected with distilled water reservoir. Second inlet tube of hermetic reservoir is connected with liquid alkali reservoir through proportioner. Outlet branch pipes of hermetic reservoir are connected with two vacuum bottles. EFFECT: increased productivity; reduced power requirements; enhanced safety; extended capabilities. 26 dwg
