FIELD: equipment for air conditioning before combustion. SUBSTANCE: method involves suction air for combustion from wet dusty ambient space; mixing wet dusty air with heated air, transferring air mixture through preliminary heating device; feeding air into furnace. Device for air conditioning includes suction fan, preliminary heating device having mixing chamber. Mixing chamber comprises heated air supply tubes arranged across combustible air flow and closed from the first ends. Supply tubes have inlet orifices for heated air receiving. Each supply tube comprises three rows of slots formed as outlet air orifices, which are displaced along perimeter on the corner of 120 deg. relative each other. One row of orifices is formed on side opposite to main combustible air flow direction. Supply tube has conical shell converging in main combustible air flow direction. Shell and supply pipe form teardrop-shaped streamline body. Air slots are made on tapered end of the shell. EFFECT: prevention of preliminary heating device charging. 5 cl, 2 dwg
