FIELD: medical equipment, applicable as a means for fastening of the working parts both of manual and mechanized instruments. SUBSTANCE: the fixative of the medical cutting cloth has retaining components and a fitting preventing the cloth shift. The fixative has an adjusting slot for the cutting cloth. Minimum one retaining component is made in the form of a frame of a special construction. The size of the frame working surface makes up at least 1/4 of the length of the cutting cloth. EFFECT: simplified servicing, reduced wear of the cutting cloth, atraumatic interaction of the cutting cloth with dissected tissues, and enhanced convenience of the surgeon work. 7 cl, 5 dwg
