FIELD: gas accumulation plants. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes three stages. First stage includes keeping the gas to be accumulated and adsorbent at low temperature, below liquefaction temperature of this gas. Gas to be accumulated is adsorbed in adsorbent in liquid state. Second stage includes introduction of gaseous or liquid medium into reservoir at low temperature; freezing point of this medium is higher than liquefaction temperature of gas. Gas adsorbed in this adsorbent in liquefied state is encapsulated by frozen medium. Third stage includes keeping the reservoir at temperature higher than liquefaction temperature but is below than freezing point. Used as gas absorbent is agent selected from series consisting of anthracene-containing planar molecules, phthalocyanine-containing cyclic molecules, paracyclophane-containing cyclic molecules and cron-ester-containing cyclic molecules.
