FIELD: storing gas.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises process of storing adsorbent with the use of a gas admixture in three stages. In the first stage, the gas and admixture are adsorbed at a high temperature and pressure, in the second stage, the temperature is decreased down to a temperature of storing and pressure is decreased to the normal pressure, and, in the third stage, the system is heated up to a temperature at which the required flow rate of gas is provided. The device comprises tank, adsorbent layer, branch pipe for supplying and discharging gas, and heater. The diameter of pores of the adsorbent ranges from 4 to 20 nm, and the diameter of the molecules of the admixture is less than the diameter of pores by 1.5-4 nm and larger or equal to the diameter of the molecules of the adsorbed gas.
