PROCESS TO TEST GROWING TREES AFTER THINNING-OUT AND CUTTING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for evaluation of quality of care felling in middle-aged and coming to ripe stands of trees. Stripes parallel to forest road are marked from road edge in points outside technological corridors. Tress left after care felling in stripes are counted. Distances between them are measured as well as other forest valuation indices, analysis of distribution of values of forest valuation indices by stripes are conducted starting from edge of forest road. Visual examination of trees is performed for selection of counted trees showing worse quality from which wood cores are taken for their subsequent analysis with use of more exact values of texture and properties of wood. EFFECT: extended testing thanks to visual examination and analysis of both wood in left trees and in stands of trees. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 3 tbl
