SUBSTANCE: in each planting unit uniform on the taxation indices on the test plot the initial age is determined, the average diameter at breast height, the average height of trees, the growth class, the number of growing trees per 1 ha. For the calculation the target function of silvicultural care of residual crop is used, aimed at obtaining the greatest yield of wood of trunks from 1 ha per 1 year of forest growing, and the age and intensity of thinning is determined, for which the formula of the volume of trunks is used, the dynamics of change in residual crop of non-thinned and thinned plantations, the dynamics of changing the average diameter and average height of non-thinned and thinned plantations, the dynamics of changing the number of growing trees of non-thinned plantation and a known amount of growing trees of thinned plantation after each thinning operation taking into account the specified target diameter of plantation, the number of thinning operations and by imitation computer calculations of numerical indicators of enumeration of possibilities of return thinning operations in 1 year and thinning intensity on the residual crop through 1 percent, the most effective variant of silvicultural care on the residual crop is obtained for the whole period of forest growing, the values of lowering the age of technical maturity of plantations are determined based on the given target diameter, the values of increase in productivity of forest stand per m3/ha and per m3/(ha·year) are determined.

EFFECT: increase in productivity of silvicultural care of residual crop of plantation.
