FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes visual inspection of trees and stumps and arrangement of test site with width of at least 20 m. At least 5 tapes are arranged onto test site with width of at least 10 m. Trees and stumps are counted on tapes, distances between them are measured, and other taxation parametres of trees are identified. On completion of visual inspection of allotment, locations of various natural and anthropogenic objects are measured. Using measurement data and taxation parametres of trees and stumps in forest allotment, electronic theme forest map is made with text and figure information on separate sections and on forest allotment as a whole. Information also includes data on trees and stumps on each section of forest allotment in the form of existing temporary and permanent test sites, which are combined in the form of geoinformation system on the basis of electronic theme forest map. Then in scale of electronic map, virtual test site is selected in the form of measuring grid with accepted number of virtual tapes. Afterwards virtual test area on computer screen is placed onto electronic map of allotment or its part. Near edge of forest road or edge of forest allotment, virtual test sites are placed perpendicularly to axis of forest road or edge of allotment and its parts. Afterwards number of trees and stumps is counted on each tape of all virtual sites, which are created on the basis of previous information on existing temporary and permanent test sites on measured forest allotment. Part of tape area occupied with trees and stumps is identified on border tapes. Density of trees and/or stumps location on tapes is calculated by division of trees and/or stumps number into area of tape occupied with forest. If full tape is occupied with forest, area of full tapes is calculated as product of tape width by length. On completion of all calculations, virtual test sites are placed on electronic map and geoinformation system along all unmeasured parts of forest allotment. Those sites are selected from virtual test sites, which in field conditions will be survey-stationed by geodesic measurements as additional ones to existing temporary or permanent test sites on forest allotment for execution of further cycles of measurements and tests of growing trees and stumps in process of trees growth and development.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurements in spatial locations and functional resources of practical application of electronic version of theme forest map of the whole allotment.
