ROTOR CAVITATIONAL DISPERSER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: preparation of emulsions and suspensions. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a rotor cavitational disperser and is mainly dealt with preparation of emulsions and suspensions and with a construction of the rotor cavitational disperser. The disperser contains a housing with branch- pipes for an inlet and outlet of the processed flow of the material. In the housing there are a ring-type rotor and an encircling it ring-type stator concentrically installed with a positive allowance in respect to each other. Inside the rotor there are vanes of a centrifugal pump. The rotor and the stator have radial cylindrical apertures for passage of the processed flow material. At that each aperture of the rotor and-or the stator has a screw groove made on its inner surface. The screw groove may be executed on a part of the length of the radial aperture inner surface or along its whole length. The technical result is an increase of a degree of a dispersion at preparation of mixtures and emulsions due to turbulization of the processed flow material with simultaneous simplification of the production process. EFFECT: the invention allows to increase a degree of dispersion at preparation of mixtures and emulsions and to simplify the production process. 11 cl, 8 dwg
