FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at increasing wear resistance of frame side surface over axle - box. Proposed cover plate is made of wear-resistant and spring sheet steel. Working plane 4 of over plate coincides in contour with over-axle-box support surface. Cover plate is provided with overlaps 5 for bending over support surface contour with thickness not less than half of thickness of over-axle-box wall changing into S-shaped clamps on section corresponding to box section. Said clamps are arranged at a distance from side walls by their lower profile 8 by not less than half of width allowance of end of part and are mated with horizontal surface through radius equal to said distance. Holes 9 are made in middle part 12 arranged coaxially with dummy holes of diameter less than diameter of dummy holes. Edges of holes are bent inward the cover plate over spherical surface, and edges of clamps 11 in upper part are bent from side walls of part within the limits of width of lower part of cover plate. Horizontal plane with laps and lower of $-shaped clamps are tamper hardened. EFFECT: improved serviceability and repairability of part. 2 dwg
