FIELD: transport engineering; railway-to-motor road crossings. SUBSTANCE: proposed crossing gate includes safety stop bar lifting electric drive. Geared motor installed in electric drive housing transmits rotation through friction-type electromagnetic clutch, driven shaft and gear train to output shaft whose end carries safety stop bar. Planetary wave gearing is used in reduction gear of geared motor. Friction clutch is furnished with ratchet mechanism. EFFECT: improved reliability in operation, provision of smooth movement of safety stop bar. 3 dwg
