FIELD: mechanical engineering; elevators. SUBSTANCE: in proposed belt bucket elevator containing endless flexible belt with fitted-on buckets on drive and tension drums and forming load-carrying and return runs, guides for bearing housing of load-tension drum, casing, fixed guides for belt, U-shaped beams are suspended from upper part of casing by means of two flexible members both on load-carrying and return runs, said U-shaped beams being arranged in horizontal plane with clearances relative to walls of casing and buckets and enclosing the buckets. Free ends of beams are interconnected by articulated two-link mechanisms whose central hinge joints are mechanically coupled through flexible members with tension drum bearing housing and are spring-loaded relative to casing, and guides for belt are located at level of U-shaped beams. EFFECT: improved efficiency of elevator owing to simplified design and reduced labor input at replacement and repair of buckets and restoration of torn-off belt. 2 dwg
