FIELD: production of pig-iron in the blast furnaces; ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents the method of production of pig-iron and is dealt with fields of iron and steel industry, in particular, with a pig iron production in blast furnaces. The method includes a heat of a charge containing pellets and a fluxed sinter, regulation of degree of oxidation and alkalinity of an agglomerate at change of a share and alkalinity of pellets by change of consumption of the solid fuel and fluxes. The ration FeOCaO/FeSiO2 in an agglomerate is kept within the limits of 0.29-0.36. Utilization of the invention allows to decrease a surplus of heat in a blast-furnace hearth and to save an amount of coke. EFFECT: the invention allows to decrease consumption of heat and coke in the blast-furnace hearth. 4 tbl
