FIELD: building engineering, particularly building in constrained space. SUBSTANCE: reinforced concrete column comprises upper support and lower foundation parts. Column also has case formed of reinforcement rods, which is built in concrete mixture and embedded members. Column is made in non-removable form. Maximum outer equivalent case diameter Dc is less than well diameter Dw by α computed from determined relation. Embedded members are arranged at upper support column part and located at mark levels of foundation plate and mark levels of floor slabs. Embedded members are formed as closed contours with stiffening ribs. Lower column part has bottom part and retainers. Method of reinforced concrete column building involves drilling well with Dw diameter in design position; deepening case of reinforcement rods in vertical direction such that gap P≥0.1 Dw is formed between case and well bottom; vertically centering case with eccentricity compensation; fixing upper part for horizontal movement prevention; moving case vertically downwards up to well bottom reaching; fixing case lower part by retainers; filling lower foundation part with concrete and inner part of non-removable frame of upper support column part. Well has diameter Dw≥Dc+2εr+2Δ+2τ. EFFECT: increased accuracy in vertical direction of building load-bearing foundation members, possibility of building construction in upwards and downwards directions relative ground level. 6 cl, 5 dwg
