METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF RELAPSING VENTRAL HERNIAS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: one should cut out cutaneous-subcutaneous fragment due to edging incisions around hernial protuberance by saving a nutritive stem. Then one should perform thermal, mechanical and antiseptic treatment of cutaneous-subcutaneous fragment, apply above operational wound. Moreover, the flap should be isolated against hernial sac and operational wound with impermeable tight surface. Thermal solution applied for treatment should be withdrawn. Transplant and hernial sac are applied at the level of hernial porta in aponeurosis followed by suturing cutaneous-subcutaneous flap into the edges of aponeurosis defect. Aponeurosis defect plasty should be carried out. Subcutaneous-fatty fiber and skin should be sutured. EFFECT: decreased terms of temporary disability. 2 ex
