SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of passenger car furnished with noise and vibration damping decorative case in upper part of internal combustion engine. Proposed vehicle contains internal combustion engine 1 installed in engine compartment whose upper part is enclosed by noise and vibration isolating case 2 secured by fasteners on load-bearing members of housing of internal combustion engine 1 and arranged with clearance 3 relative to body hood 4. said case includes load-bearing skeleton 5 and noise-absorbing panel 6 made of porous noise-absorbing material. Novelty is that load-bearing skeleton 5 is made in form of rigid perforated metal or polymeric part integral inside body of porous noise-absorbing panel with formation of parts 6 and 7 over under load-bearing skeleton 5. structure of noise-absorbing porous panels 6 and 7 arranged at both sides of load-bearing skeleton 5 in form of two-sided noise absorber can be either homogeneous or with different mechanical and acoustic characteristics.
