FIELD: production of alumina out of nephelines or low-grade bauxites. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an installation for carbonization of aluminate solutions. The invention is pertinent to fields of production of alumina out of nephelines or low-grade bauxites in processes, where decomposition aluminate solutions is carried out by a method of carbonization by the flue gases containing carbonic acid. The installation consists of several carbonizers with mixers. The carbonizers are installed on one level and divided into several groups, each of which contains no less than two carbonizers. Transportation of a suspension to carbonizers of the installation is carried out by the transport air lifts with their inlet branch-pipes incised into the carbonizers below the level of location of bubblers used for a gas delivery and with their outlet branch-pipes incised into the carbonizers below the lid of the next apparatus of the same group. At that the outlet branch-pipe of the last carbonizer of the group is incised into the lid of the first carbonizer of the following group. The inlet and outlet branch-pipes of the transport air lifts are incised into the housings of the corresponding carbonizers of each group tangentially. The invention ensures a decrease of power and operation costs to transport suspension in the installation for carbonization of aluminate solutions and also an increase of reliability of operation of the whole installation and a decrease of costs of its maintenance. EFFECT: invention allows to increase reliability of operation of the installation, to decrease its power, operation and maintenance costs. 2 cl, 2 dwg
