FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for cross-linking carboxylated polysaccharides and can be used in medicinal and pharmaceutical fields and cosmetology. Method for preparing involves activation of polysaccharide carboxyl groups by interaction with useful carboxyl group-activating agents in anhydrous aprotonic solvent. The method involves interaction of polysaccharide with activated carboxyl groups and polyamine of the general formula: R1-NH-A-NHR2, wherein A means C2-C10-alkylene chain or polyhydroxyalkylene chain [CH2)n-O-(CH2]m, wherein n = 2 or 3; m = from 2 to 10; R1 and R2 are similar or different and represent hydrogen atom, C1-C6-alkyl, phenyl or benzyl. Cross-linked polysaccharides are prepared by above indicated method. Invention provides preparing compounds with high biological compatibility and improved resistance to enzymatic systems. Obtained polysaccharides can be used for making different forms (gels, films) and they can be sterilized by chemical or physical methods being without alteration of the product structure.
