FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to creation of a cryoprotective solution for blood storage. Cryoprotectant for freezing whole blood at sub-moderately low -20 °C and moderately low -40 °C temperatures includes glycerol, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate disubstituted, water for injections and additionally dimethyl sulphoxide and lactulose at the following ratio of ingredients, vol.%: glycerol 20, dimethyl sulphoxide 10, lactulose 2.5, sodium chloride 0.25; sodium phosphate disubstituted 0.25; water for injections up to 100%.
EFFECT: disclosed whole blood cryoprotectant provides preservation of morphofunctional integrity of blood cells in conditions of submoderate and moderately low temperatures.
